Buckinghamshire property search information
Geography
Buckinghamshire is a beautiful county characterised by a variety of landscapes, soft rolling hills and lush wooded valleys, wide open vales, the majestic meandering river and dark dense forests. Over a third of the county is covered by the Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Cities and Towns
In the north of the county lies the highly successful business and shopping centre Milton Keynes, with its tree-lined boulevards, excellent road system and an abundance of parking. The county is full of unspoilt villages and vibrant market towns including Buckingham, Winslow, Wendover, Woburn, Great Missenden and Princes Risborough to name a few.

Communications
Trains – Regular services run from Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard to London Euston providing excellent access to the city and docklands while trains running from Wendover, Oxford and Bicester provide good connections to West London through direct lines to London Paddington and Marylebone.
Air – Excellent access to London Heathrow, Luton, Birmingham International and East Midlands airports.
Road – Two main north-south motorways flank the region - the M40 and the M1 provide excellent road links.
Property search
The region, traditionally a prosperous agricultural area, is rich in well-kept villages and small market towns, each with its fair share of elegant and substantial properties. Equally true is the fact that the countryside is well stocked with grand houses as well as comfortable farm houses and charming cottages are to be found throughout the region. However, large houses on the market tend to be in short supply and in high demand, so many never actually reach the open market but are transferred with no market awareness.

Economy
There is a thriving business community in Buckinghamshire while it is also noted for its enterprise and culture with a higher than the national average new businesses starting up each year. The key areas of growth have been in financial and business services and there is a strong public services and health sector.
Schools
Buckinghamshire is renowned for its grammar schools, leading public schools and very good day junior schools. We are more than happy to assist in obtaining any information you may require about specific schools.
